For the Bangers & Lace site in the Roscoe Village neighborhood, Footman Hospitality looked to the 555 design team to create a space that speaks to the vintage-outdoorsman soul of the original concept, with a natural aesthetic all its own.

Throughout the design of the space and creation of the menu, signature elements act as the common thread for all locations while unique details and seasonal offerings make each venue special. The tucked-away Lakeview locale evokes the coziness of a Midwestern lodge respite. Industrial wire light fixtures, Edison bulb chandeliers, and polished brass details accent the carved wood bar while floor-to-ceiling wooden wall panels and custom upholstered seating make it easy to stay for another pint. Large windows are adorned with delicate lace drapery and fully retract on warm nights to blur the line between inside and out. Hand-selected artwork and an eclectic array of taxidermy are highlighted against exposed brick and an impressive collection of firewood.
