Pacific Standard Time: Custom Millwork
View All Products
Product Description
For our first collaboration with Parts and Labor, 555 International’s production team assisted with the design development and custom fabrication of several millwork elements inside their new restaurant project, Pacific Standard Time.
Custom feature highlights include an angled ceiling wood beam structure, solid oak top dine-at kitchen pass, cantilevered bar leaner area, solid walnut column surround planters, and molded exterior paneling.
The angled beam structure is comprised of interlocking faux teak wooden beams, pulling the eye towards the chef’s expo counter at the heart of the space. At eye level, a solid custom wood riffed countertop spans the length of the kitchen, creating a dramatic extended kitchen pass counter area.
The bar leaner area features custom walnut veneered cabinetry with tambour detail cantilevered between the two columns, topped with a Carrara marble countertop. Additionally, 555 designed and fabricated a series of custom polypropylene panels for the building’s exterior as a design alternative to decorative tile, which assisted with cost and was more durable over time.
