The Traveller Bar

Product Description
Based on the revitalization of the “golden age of cocktails”, Mark Weiss of Loews Hotels, concocted the idea for a traveling 1930’s speak-easy, aptly named, The Traveller Bar.
The mission of The Traveller Bar is to present a one-of-a- kind beverage concept across Loews Hotel’s unique properties that will highlight the rich art form of cocktail mixing. This pop-up bar experience delivers specialized cocktail menus through an exclusive partnership with Collectif 1806. To bring this bar to life, Mark Weiss could think of no partner other than 555 to design and fabricate a fully functioning, mobile, experiential classic bar to Loews hotels across the US.
For aesthetic inspiration, 555 referenced apothecaries of old and Victorian-style greenhouses while developing a modular assembly that would quickly dismantle and efficiently ship across the country. What resulted is a dark oak paneled, zinc-top bar with internally illuminated back bar shelving and a hand-painted glass enclosure framed in black bronze. String lights are hung from the overhead rafters for a romantic effect with leather bar stools and lounge furniture that travel along with the structure to encourage guests to stay awhile and enjoy the mixology cocktail program.
A step into the traveling speakeasy takes its guest back in time—revitalizing the golden age of cocktails while exploring the United States with each new stop.
