555 International was brought in to assist in the interior design, development, and production of several hospitality spaces for Hard Rock Hotels’ Tropical Resorts, including Punta Cana, Panama, Puerto Vallarta, Tampa, Las Vegas, Cancun, and Riviera Maya.

Each location is comprised of a range of unique spaces spanning all levels of hospitality and retail design: souvenir shops, lobby bars, high-end restaurants, casual dining common areas, and guest quarters. Conceptually, we focused on the organic integration of music and rock influences throughout each environment. Our biggest design challenge working with Hard Rock Cafe was to identify unique opportunities to integrate their brand aesthetic and tone of voice into the interiors while aligning each hospitality space with the local culture, effectively making each space an authentic experience. In the end, each space included a range of custom branded design elements, including artwork, sculptural installations, furniture, graphics, and fully custom lighting that resonate with its local surroundings.
