Reinventing the classic notion of the traditional English high tea pastry, Scone City offers an eclectic, mouth-watering array of distinctively light, yet buttery artisanal scones. The original turn-of-the century dairy barn has been transformed into an urban, chef-driven, non-traditional bakeshop and espresso bar.

An unexpected balance results from the front bistro feel and the comfortable lofted lounge area behind. Utilizing the vivid juxtaposition between reclaimed oak cabinetry and curated street art with custom neon chandeliers and plush seating; the 1200-square-foot space has been designed with flexibility as a priority, creating a comfortable environment with a distinct urban edge.
Customers are drawn in from the street by the graffiti-inspired logo laser cut from large metal disks and internally illuminated. The design of custom metal window grills mounted to the exterior façade is mimicked inside in the hand-stenciled pattern on the reclaimed wood floor in the lounge.
The intimate space is energized with a high contrast of color and materials. Clean lines created by marbleized porcelain countertops and blackened metal furniture highlight the industrial edge executed in the custom steel pipe railing and shelving unit. Custom plaster walls marry existing brick that is beautifully restored.
The delectable scones are highlighted atop a neutral palate of soft white countertops and whitewashed cabinets with a custom under-counter glass refrigerated unit for chilled pastries. Together, the custom elements within the small space create a unique environment to house a diverse art collection and showcase an exceptionally delightful menu.
